LAN/WAN Survey & Installation

We supply the engineers with the tools required to plan and design the LAN/WAN installation at the locations you need. We can use your site survey template or we can design one to meet the specific requirements of your project. An accurate, clear and concise survey document is critical to a successful site survey. We present our site survey deliverable and work with you until you have all your questions answered and have all the information you need. 
We are certified and have extensive experience working in industrial and construction environments. We have completed LAN/WAN Surveys in a variety of locations including office buildings, commercial locations and very large oil refineries.

 

 

LAN/WAN Survey Service Includes:

  • A walk through the site to be surveyed
  • A detailed audit of each network closets at the location. The MDF and all the IDFs at the site are visited.
  • A detailed document with pictures outlining all the information you need to complete the installation.
 
 
The documentation we provide from our survey will include;
  • Information gathered for network design specifications
  • Wiring closet and equipment cabinet reviews and audit (detail rack space utilization report is provided)
  • AC power and UPS systems requirements verified
  • Appropriate cable measurements, including any cable run obstructions are noted
  • Detailed drawings and floor maps outlining the MDF and all IDFs are provided
  • Notation of main address, phone number
  • Notation of LAN/WAN Equipment model type, serial number
  • Tasks required for installation/maintenance readiness are defined
  • Written report presented to you

LAN/WAN Installations

Our certified engineers can install LAN/WAN equipment in offices located anywhere across the country. We will dispatch to your location and install the pre-configured routers/switches/firewalls. Our technicians are trained and prepared to assist with any configuration that may be required. You tell us what equipment and tools are required and we arrive onsite, on time, and prepared to complete the scope of work.

Our resources are familiar with technology and not just a certain vendor’s product. This allows us us to provide our LAN/WAN installation service regardless of what vendor’s equipment you roll out.

Our Project Management Office takes care of all the coordination with all involved parties to ensure that delays and difficulties are avoided.  We have extensive experience working in conjunction with service providers as well as 3rd party engineering and project management groups.

We have worked on LAN/WAN installations that have a single site to projects that involve multiple visits to 2oo locations across the country. Our technical resources work closely with your engineering group and are constantly in touch with our project management office.

We will provide pictures and an As-Built document upon completion of the project along with any other requested documentation.

If we have provided the resources for a site survey we ensure that the same resource is sent back to the site to perform the installation. This technical and site knowledge continuity ensure a smooth installation. If you require ongoing operational support beyond the installation, we can provide the SLA that matches you requirements.
